Morgan Freeman is set to join Tom Cruise in the post-apocalyptic sci-fi film Oblivion, to be directed by Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy). Sounds like a pretty awesome concept.
Deadline Hollywood reports that Cruise plays the last man on a post-apocalyptic and nearly uninhabitable Earth, who stays behind to repair ships that hunt down and blast a virulent alien species.
The film is based on Radical Publishing's comic book series of the same name and is set to hit theaters on July 19th, 2013.
