Book of Mormon Co-Director To Direct Austin Powers Musical

Rumor has it that Tony winner Casey Nicholaw (Book of Mormon) is on tap to direct a Broadway musical prequel of Austin Powers.  The musical, written by creator and star of the Austin Powers films, Mike Mysers, will feature the music of Burt Bacharach and Elvis Costello who both appear in the films.  

Myers is also in the process of creating a fourth installment of the Powers film series.
