Spielberg Casts British Actor Jared Harris as Ulysses S. Grant

Steven Spielberg has cast British actor Jared Harris (Sherlock Holmes 2, Mad Men) to play Ulysses S. Grant in his upcoming film Lincoln.  Harris will star alongside Daniel Day Lewis who has been cast in the title role.  Grant was lieutenant general in charge of all the Union armies during the US Civil War.  Lincoln is currently in pre-production.  A release date has yet to be announced.
